WINE CELLAR<\/h3>\n

The Contrada Salandra Winery<\/strong> is located in Pozzuoli on Cuma Coasts, in Via Trepiccioni.<\/p>\n

Here it is where all production activities are concentrated: vinification in steel barrels, bottling, labeling and packaging.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s here that thanks to the technique, passion and dedication of Giuseppe Fortunato, wines come to life, with an annual production of around 20,000 bottles.<\/p>\n

The winery has always avoided disagreeable interventions in the cellar, through the maximum respect for the values of the nature.<\/p>\n

Contrada Salandra has the fortune to operate in a particular area: the Campi Flegrei, a young volcanic land which is still in activity, that has made it possible to cultivate all free-range vineyards..<\/span><\/p>\n

THE VINEYARDS<\/h3>\n

The vineyards are located in the municipality of Pozzuoli<\/strong>, between the localities of Cuma Coasts, Monteruscello and Scalandrone<\/strong>, and cover an area of about 4.7 hectares (2 owned and 2.7 under conduction).<\/p>\n

From the first years of activity, the company set out to harvest only high quality grapes, balanced in its components and with an optimal degree of ripeness, taking care of each individual vine and allowing it to reach the right productive balance.<\/p>\n

Running a vineyard requires a great experience, a lot of knowledge and years of patience. Man is not enough, the results are also linked to the characteristics of the soil and to the climate, these cannot be invented: they are essential requirements for the birth of a great wine.
